RMK MARINE HAS LAUNCHED COSIMA PG SUCCESSFULLY

RMK MARINE has launched COSIMA PG successfully by a ceremony conducted on 12th June 2019. COSIMA PG, the 7.000 Dwt IMO II Chemical and Oil Products Tanker, with Hull Nr.NB116 being built for Pritchard Gordon Tankers (PGT) Ltd., the British owner of the Ship, is the 19th ship that RMK MARINE has built in the chemical tanker segment. Mr.Adnan Nefesoğlu, RMK MARINE’s CEO, stated in his speech that they have fulfilled the requirements of the challenging, complex and environment friendly international regulatons and modern shipbuilding practices following they received the order of the first ship, ROSE PG in 2015. He underlined that as a consequence of the client satısfaction, they have received two more orders from PGT. Mr.Nefesoğlu further added that in order to achieve their mutual goal in this project, the operational and quality requirements of PGT are fully complied by the support of its technical team. Mr. Henry Keane, who spoke on behalf of the Owner, PGT family, delivered a speech in the launching ceremony too. He thanked to RMK MARINE and its personnel who spent great efforts for the success of NB116 Project so far and for applying the highest and modern shipbuilding standards in the design and construction of Cosima PG. The ceremony was completed following the launch of COSIMA PG.
